About the Tour

Three Hoysala temples in Belur, Halebidu and Somanathapura were added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2023. Visit with us to the three World Heritage temples, and lesser-known Hoysala gems over three days. We will 'read' the stories in the sculptures. We will talk about the artisans who worked on the sculptures and understand exactly what makes these temples World Heritage. There can also be a tour of a coffee estate and taste some freshly brewed estate coffee!

This trip is very close to our hearts. Know why? Because our walk leaders led the team that wrote the 500-page nomination dossier that was the basis for UNESCO declaring these temples as World Heritage!!
